How is fossil fuelsconverted/transferred into usable energy
Answer:Fossil fuels are converted to [[#|electricity]] when people burn fuels and used it to heat water to make steam. Then the Steam turns on turbines which produce electrons and turns on Generators that generate electrical power

How is this type of enrgy used today?
Answer:Fossil fuels are used today when people lose power during natural Disastors they use genartors to make power. Cars, factories and homes use this.

Advantages of using this energy source.
  • A very large amount of electricity can be generated in one place using coal.

  • Transporting oil and gas to the power stations is easy

  • Gas fired power stations are very efficient

Disadvantages of this [[#|energy]] source

  • Pollution is the main effect of fossil fuels.Burning them can produces carbon dioxyed.

  • Mining coal can be difficult and dangerous

  • Burning coal produces more carbon dioxyed than burning coal or gas.

Are fossil fuels a renewable source?
Answer:No!This is because it takes million of year for fossil fuels to form from dead animal remains.Humans burn them faster than they can form, and when they are used they are finished espicially coal and oil.
